Commanding Officer: Flight Lieutenant Abs Ginimav RAFVR(T)
Abhimanyu "Abs" Ginimav joined the Royal Air Force Air Cadets when he was 13 years old. He then joined as a Civilian Instructor at the age of 20, and applied for a commission with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets. After gaining experience as the Squadron Adjutant, Flying and Gliding Officer and Training Officer, he took command of 4F Squadron at the age of 22. He is a Commercial Pilot Licence holder, and had a keen interest in anything aviation related, but also target shooting, scuba diving and music.
Civilian Instructor, Luke Howard
Mr. Howard joined 4F Squadron when he was 13, also becoming an Cadet Corporal at 4F. After leaving to focus on studies, he returned to 4F after studying history at university. Having a keen interest in military history, and a teacher by profession, he has taken on the responsibility to conduct lessons orientated around teaching cadets about significat historical events, that have helped shape the nation, the British military, particularly the RAF and also the Air Cadet Organisation today.
